- Hi!
-
-
- I have a GVP A530 with 0MB RAM and a Quantum Lightning hard disk.
- The hard disk was already partitioned and formatted with another
- system. Whenever I switch my A500 on I'm getting an error requester
- from the gvpscsi.device saying:
-
- gvpscsi.device: unit 000
- Unexpected Status $82/$00 (or $42/$00 or $89/$45).
-
- Anybody knows what these error codes mean?
-
- I think the problem is my A500, because the board works with any
- other A500. The on board Chip RAM is defect, so I exchanged the
- RAM select line for the on board RAM with the select line for the
- trapdoor expansion.
-
- Could it be that the trapdoor expansion doesn't allow DMA trans-
- fers from the GVP?
