  13. I have a GVP A530 with 0MB RAM and a Quantum Lightning hard disk.
  14. The hard disk was already partitioned and formatted with another
  15. system. Whenever I switch my A500 on I'm getting an error requester
  16. from the gvpscsi.device saying:

  18. gvpscsi.device: unit 000
  19. Unexpected Status $82/$00   (or $42/$00 or $89/$45).

  21. Anybody knows what these error codes mean?

  23. I think the problem is my A500, because the board works with any
  24. other A500. The on board Chip RAM is defect, so I exchanged the
  25. RAM select line for the on board RAM with the select line for the
  26. trapdoor expansion.

  28. Could it be that the trapdoor expansion doesn't allow DMA trans-
  29. fers from the GVP?
